Apple Airtag Aids Windsor Man In Recovering Stolen Car

A Windsor resident, Saamer Mansoor, recovered his stolen car, thanks to an Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) AirTag.

According to a CTV News report, Mansoor had installed the small tracking device in his car six months prior, inspired by stories of its effectiveness in retrieving stolen vehicles in Toronto. However, he never anticipated needing it as he always took precautions with his vehicle.

Mansoor’s car went missing following a chaotic Saturday when he was preoccupied with his sick toddler son. He inadvertently left the driver’s side window open and when his brother inquired about the car’s whereabouts the next morning, Mansoor soon realized it had been stolen.
