The Lost Lamb by Melanie Flynn Receives Accolades

The Lost Lamb by Melanie Flynn has been named the recipient of The Bookish Reader’s Pick Award by The Bookish Magazine. The novel has also been shortlisted for the BREW Readers’ Choice Award presented by The Chrysalis BREW Project.

Both honors recognize works that have drawn strong engagement and response from readers and reviewers across genres.

Published on September 30, 2025, The Lost Lamb follows NYPD Detective Calum Reese and psychic private investigator Rylee Scott as they attempt to solve a twenty-two-year-old missing persons case. The book is the second in the Psychic Detective Rylee Scott series but is written as a standalone work.

With this recognition, The Lost Lamb joins a list of titles acknowledged for their impact among readers and critics. The BREW Readers’ Choice Award results will be announced later this year.
